End of Year Achievement Awards
End of Academic Year: July 2020: At this time of year, in recognition of the continued hard work across the school, our teachers usually award special certificates to a child in each year group who has demonstrated either academic achievement or outstanding personal attitudes. This year (2020), after much consideration, staff felt unable to fairly make these awards as many children have not been on site since April. We hope this will make next year's Awards even more special! This time last year, we were very pleased to announce the following Awards at the end of the Summer Term 2019 :
Reception Award for Kindness and Helpfulness: awarded to Jimmy B
Year One Award for Independence: awarded to Archie B
Year Two Award for Reading Improvement: George H
Year Three Award for Hardwork and Determination: most improvement in Reading: Jessica D
Year Four Award for Maths: Jay L
Year Five Award for Sport and Fair Play: Heidi H
Congratulations to all our successful children!
We are making the most of calm, early Autumn weather to update our severe weather guidance and check that it's accurate and relevant. As soon as we've done this, we will publish it here for families to read during the colder (snowy maybe!) months......
