Welcome back! We hope you have had a lovely summer break. The children have settled into the Autumn Term well and have worked hard over the first two weeks.
During this time we have been focusing our learning around a book called ‘Here We Are: Notes for living on planet earth’ written by Oliver Jeffers. The children have talked about the different themes in the book for example equality, kindness and families and completed activities around this.
In English we’ve learnt about expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials. We have used our learning to write our own guides which offer advice to people who are living on planet earth
