Welcome to Langtree Community School and Nursery Unit

Langtree Community School is a small rural primary school in the heart of the North Devon countryside, 4 miles from the historic market town of Torrington and 8 miles from Bideford.
The original school was built in 1929 and remains the centre of the village community, closely linked to the parish church.
We have extensive grounds including forest school and trim trail, along with access to the multi use games area and neighbouring village hall.
Our class bases offer a broad and balanced curriculum to children from age 2 to 11.
Langtree Community School is a safe, happy and welcoming place where staff, governors and parents work together to make learning fun and challenging. We treat everyone with kindness and respect.
At Langtree Community School we are all learners who support each other to think positively and to do our best at work, play and sports.
Whatever their starting points we have high expectations for every child's learning outcomes, development of their skills for learning and their spiritual, social, moral and physical health and wellbeing.

Our school is part of the Two Rivers Federation with Bishops Tawton Primary School, working together to benefit all of our children.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
