Class 3 have been learning about Ancient Greece. They have researched, completed sketches of the outlines of pots and have designed their own.
The children then used their designs to create a pot from air drying clay. They used the thumb pot method to make the base of a pot and then added coils to decrease the diameter. Through using the slipping and scoring method they were able to add handles.
Class 3 are looking forward to completing their pots through painting and then carefully adding their chosen design.
